| Friday September 7 2007 Fraser Eagle makes it another successful summer for the YHA Fraser Eagle has successfully transported over 12,000 schoolchildren to summer camps across the UK as part of the Youth Hostel Association's annual "Do it 4 Real" programme. It is the third year in a row that Fraser Eagle has provided transport for this huge programme which takes place over seven weeks throughout July and August. Fraser Eagle Management Services organised two major transport hubs - one at Fraser Eagle's Lancashire HQ and a southern hub at Greendown Community School in Swindon. "This was another huge logistical operation," says Paul Marney, Fraser Eagle's commercial director of coaching. "We provided hundreds of coaches and co-ordination staff every weekend for seven weeks to bring kids from across the UK to these two central hubs, before commencing departures to camps in the Lake District, Peak District, North Yorkshire, the South Coastand Devon. "As well as transporting the children we also had to keep them entertained in between each leg of the journey while their luggage is being organised and this involved hiring dance groups and cinema facilities." |
